For over 50 years, Hoppy® Mechanical Aimers have been the standard of OE Manufacturing, Dealers, Inspection and Repair Facilities and Body Shops all across North America. The introduction of aerodynamic headlamps created a need for adapters to accommodate the new lamps. The large variety of shapes and sizes introduced in recent years has made it impractical to continue to use adapters. In addition, the gradual elimination of aiming pads will soon make mechanical aimers obsolete. For these reasons, Hoppy designed and introduced the first electronic, photometric aimer used in North America, the Vision 1. Soon to follow was the introduction of the Vision 100. And now Hoppy introduces the VA 25. On November 1, 2005, Hopkins Manufacturing announced that Wall Industries, LLC acquired the Hoppy headlamp aimer product line. Wall Industries is a newly formed company led by F. Dale Wall former General Manager of the Aimer Division of Hopkins. Under an agreement with Hopkins, the aimer product line will continue to be marketed under the Hoppy trade name and trademark. Wall will assemble and distribute the headlamp aimers from its new facility located in Emporia, Kansas |
